Grounded Thinking | groundedthinking.ai

1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings for the AI Literacy and Cyber Literacy for Directors workshop (“Workshop”) offered by Grounded Thinking Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as Grounded Thinking, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17026718, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

The Workshop is delivered in partnership with ACOYVIS Limited (trading as Cyber4Directors). By completing a booking, you (“you”, “the delegate”) agree to these Terms in full.

2. The Workshop

The AI Literacy and Cyber Literacy for Directors workshop is a full-day programme designed for board-level delegates. It is delivered jointly by Grounded Thinking Ltd and Cyber4Directors (ACOYVIS Limited).

Specific details of each workshop event — including date, time, location or online platform, and programme outline — will be published on the booking page for that event. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted those details.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Confirmation of Place

A booking constitutes an offer to attend the Workshop. Your place is not confirmed until full payment has been received. No place will be held on the basis of an unconfirmed booking or pending payment.

3.2 Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of booking. All payments are made to Grounded Thinking Ltd. Prices are as stated on the booking page at the time of booking.

Grounded Thinking Ltd is a newly established company and has not yet met the threshold for VAT registration, so no VAT will be charged for this event.

3.3 Booking Acknowledgement

You will receive an email acknowledgement on submission of your booking. Please note this is not confirmation that the Workshop will proceed; it is an acknowledgement of your booking request and payment.

A full confirmation — including venue or access details, start and finish times, and any preparatory materials — will be sent no later than two weeks before the Workshop date.

4. Cancellation by the Delegate

4.1 No Refunds

All bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, no refund will be issued, regardless of the notice given.

4.2 Substitution

You may transfer your place to a colleague or other named individual, provided you notify us in writing at least seven (7) days before the Workshop date. Substitution requests should be sent to simon@groundedthinking.ai.

It is your responsibility to ensure the substitute has been informed of and accepts these Terms. No more than one substitution per booking will be permitted.

5. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us

5.1 Our Right to Cancel or Reschedule

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any Workshop at our discretion. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.

5.2 Your Options

If we cancel a Workshop for which payment has been received, you will be offered:

The choice is yours. We will contact you to arrange the preferred outcome. We will not be liable for any other costs you have incurred in connection with your attendance, including travel or accommodation, unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.

5.3 Travel and Accommodation

Please do not book travel or accommodation until you have received formal written confirmation of the Workshop from us. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred prior to such confirmation.

6. Intellectual Property

All Workshop materials — including but not limited to presentations, slides, frameworks, templates, and written content — are the joint intellectual property of Grounded Thinking Ltd and ACOYVIS Limited (Cyber4Directors).

On attending the Workshop, you are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use the materials provided for your own reference. You may not:

without the prior written consent of both Grounded Thinking Ltd and ACOYVIS Limited.

7. Conduct and Confidentiality

7.1 Chatham House Rule

The Workshop is held under the Chatham House Rule. You are free to use the information and ideas discussed, but you may not attribute any statement to a named individual or organisation, or otherwise identify any participant.

7.2 No Recording

Recording, screenshotting, or the use of AI-enabled note-taking tools during the Workshop is strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorised by us in writing.

7.3 Conduct

We expect all delegates to behave respectfully towards facilitators and other participants. We reserve the right to remove any delegate whose conduct we reasonably consider inappropriate, without refund.

8. Disclaimer

The content delivered in the Workshop is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, technical, or professional advice. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, we make no representation or warranty as to the completeness or suitability of the content for any particular purpose. Delegates should seek independent professional advice where required.

9. Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with your booking will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking, you consent to receiving communications related to the Workshop, including confirmation and preparatory information.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
